‘Ghostbusters: Afterlife’ Trailer Features Paul Rudd, But None Of The Originals
Ghostbusters: Afterlife is being billed as a sequel to the 1989 film Ghostbusters II, and fans might be disappointed that none of the principals — Bill Murray, Sigourney Weaver, Dan Aykroyd, and Ernie Hudson — appear. However, their iconic Ghostbusters car, uniforms and a ghost trap are in the trailer, as are new cast members Paul Rudd, Finn Wolfhard (It, Stranger Things), McKenna Grace and Carrie Coon (Guardians of the Galaxy).
Also not seen in the trailer: New York City, where the previous Ghostbusters films took place. Watch the full trailer below.
Ghostbusters: Afterlife opens in theaters on July 10, 2020.
