The road course race will be held Sunday, August 16. and will be NASCAR’s debut on the course used by the IMSA sports car series.
The season finale at Daytona International Speedway will be held on Saturday, August 29.
Florida’s WESH Channel 2 anchor tweeted, “BREAKING: #NASCAR announces for the first time, the Cup series will race at Daytona International Speedway’s Road Course.”
