5. Alter Bridge: Silver Tongue
The new single from Alterbridge Silver Tongue is the first single released from their new album Pawns and Kings which dropped on October 14th. And they have an Animated music video to go along with it. My favorite kind of music videos are ones where you can see the band or artist performing and acting. But I am an Alterbridge fan and I love this track and the animation is well done. The music video for “Silver Tongue” follows a guy and a girl who fall under the spell of a painting that comes to life. The painting drags the characters into a dark world and forces them to fight for survival in a classic battle of good versus evil. Alter Bridge rocks WDHA’s 40-something anniversary show at The Wellmont Theater on Wednesday, February 1, 2022.
4. Ozzy Osbourne - One of Those Days
The Prince of Darkness is back with a new album that is loaded with guest stars and kick-ass tunes. The second release from the album One of Those Days has Ozzy teaming up with the legendary Eric Clapton and there is a new video out for it. In this video, Ozzy appears in an animated version of what his bad day is. Not sure but it’s really cool.
3. The Smashing Pumpkins - Beguiled
I love this new track from the Smashing Pumpkins! It’s a rocker for sure. Frontman Billy Corgan has said that he has been working on the new album Autumn for four years and that it is a Rock Opera and sequel to their 1995 album Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness and to their 2000 album Machina/ The Machine of God. The new album will be released in 3 different acts. Act 1 will be released on November 15th. The music video for Beguiled is a mixture of Weird and Psycadellic Goodness. Check it out!
2. Cage - Billy Idol
Cage is the title track and new single from Billy Idol’s new EP. It’s a 4 track EP that has Idol teamed back up with Guitarist Steve Stevens and Cage takes you back to Idol and Steven’s hard rockin’ 80s days. The new music video for Cage is outstanding! Billy and Steven still got it! The video has Billy in a straight jacket and eventually breaking out of it and ending up in a cage singing for a bunch of dancing women while Steve is playing his guitar on a stage of stairs. They both look great and still Rock!! Hey Billy where can I get a straight jacket like that?
1. Tired of Winning - Nothing More
Tired of Winning is the new single from Nothing More’s sixth album Spirits. Nothing More is one of my favorite Modern day bands. and their new music video for Tired of Winning is my number one pick for the top 5. It has Nothing More performing and a guy that has an eyeball appearing on his forehead and taking a scary science fiction journey. Or maybe it’s just a dream?
