It’s awesome to get a request for this track, cause it does not get much airplay. But that’s what the RRz is for! It’s from Black Sabbaths 2013 album titled 13. It is their nineteenth and a final studio album. It was the band’s first studio recording with original singer Ozzy Osbourne and bassist Geezer Butler since the live album Reunion (1998), which contained two new studio tracks. It was also the first studio album with Osbourne since Never Say Die! (1978), and with Butler since Cross Purposes (1994).

Yes, it happens, at times a couple of different Brigaders will request the same band. In this case, Commander Karen G requested the song and band and Commander Bets B requested the band. It all worked out perfectly. I am always happy to rock Tool. I saw Tool perform Forty-Six & 2 last February at The Prudential Center in Newark, NJ, and was blown away. Every time I hear it I think of that show.

I had originally read the request wrong and thought the Fing Della wanted this played for his Beagle Bella Della. I did not realize til I was working on the Top 5 that he wanted to be played for The Anniversary of David Bowie’s death. David Bowie passed away on January 10, 2016. He lost his battle with Cancer. He was 69 years young. It totally slipped my mind that it was the anniversary of his passing. My Apologies. R.I.P. David Bowie.
