TC here and you know I’m all about the pups and so is WDHA! Our Rock N’ Ruff adoption program is going strong after thirteen years and we appreciate all you do to keep us going.
I also understand how important our dogs are to us, so I’m going to head into the summer highlighting some cool places to go/new businesses to check out in various categories for the pet lover.
This week we investigate some new businesses that have opened for our furry friends that can make their lives and our lives a barking bit better!

  • Happy Hounds Playground - Veterans Memorial Field- Zeek Road- Morris Plains

    Located at Veterans Memorial Field (On Zeek Road) the Happy Hounds Playground is available to both Denville and Non Denville residents BUT you must be a member to enter. Park Manager Meredith Petrillo runs a tight, clean ship and wants a safe environment for every dog! You can apply to join the park at Apply To Join Happy Hounds or call 973-627-4900.

    Based out of Morristown this convenient, stress free grooming option is run by dog lover Dana and has become a favorite with WDHA staffers. Check out the Zoom & Groom website and let them come to you!

  • Home Towne Pet Shoppe - (NEW Morris Plains Location)

    If you’ve listened to WDHA you probably have heard me talk about Home Towne Pet Shoppe. Lynn and Sam the owners are committed to quality, customer service and community. Their two locations (West Caldwell and Pompton Lakes) are now joined by a third in Morris Plains on rt. 10 in the Briarcliff shopping plaza.
    They are committed to helping local rescues and hold adoption events at all their locations every weekend. It is Rosie Carr’s absolute favorite place on earth! (and they deliver too)

  • Longevity Veterinary Center and Holistic Pet Care

    I was lucky enough to be at the grand opening of Longevity Veterinary Center and Holistic Pet Care on Rt. 10 East in Whippany last week and I was blown away by the incredible facilities, services offered, dedicated staff and incredible Veterinary professionals. Longevity offers both conventional and holistic care and there is no place like it. Check out their website, stop by and check out the offices and meet their vets. You will be blown away.
