INTERVIEW: ‘Six on the Beach’: Chris Jericho’s Sixth Voyage of Rock and Wrestling Rage at Sea

We recently caught up with Chris Jericho to chat about the upcoming sixth voyage of his Rock ‘N’ Wrestling Rager at Sea. This year, the cruise will be from January 31 to February 04, 2025, it goes from Miami to Puerto Plata.

“Six on the Beach”

According to Chris, the idea came to him after Fozzy did the KISScruise in 2015. “The moment we docked after the cruise was done, I said, I can do this. I can do my version of the KISS Cruise. I can do wrestling and rock and roll and comedy and put some paranormal elements to it and just everything that I kind of am into.” Fans eagerly anticipate this event year after year. This year’s going to be epic since the Jericho cruise will make its first-ever stop in Puerto Plata. The lineup features a mix of legendary and independent wrestlers, comedians, and rock bands promising fans an unforgettable experience.

Goodwill Ambassador

Speaking of legendary, Meltdown asked Chris about his father, Ted Irvine, a former professional hockey player, now the Goodwill Ambassador of Rock and Wrestling Rage at Sea. “Having Teddy wander around, introducing himself to everybody has become kind of one of the highlights for a lot of people.”

Since the cruise combines all the things Chris enjoys, it even includes a paranormal twist. Dave Schrader, one of the top paranormal radio hosts, will share ghostly tales on the ship’s deck in the middle of the night. “He comes on every year and it’s always a lot of fun. And it’s kind of creepy, too.
