The Rock of New Jersey is proud to partner again with our friends at Morris County Habitat for Humanity for WDHA’s “Hammer For Habitat” campaign!
June 21st and 22nd we’ll be rolling up our sleeves and getting to work as we build a house for a family in our New Jersey community. The work done during these two days will eventually become a permanent home in Perth Amboy. Here’s what you need to know:
THE RUNDOWN:
The WDHA jocks will be getting down and dirty building this home at 200 Campus Drive in Florham Park. See below for ways to get involved. Here’s the schedule:
TUESDAY 6/21
- 9am-10am: Opening Ceremony
- 10am-12pm: First Build Shift with WDHA Jock
- 10am-3pm: Live Broadcast with Terrie Carr
- 1pm-3pm: Second Build Shift with WDHA Jock
HERE’S A FEW WAYS THAT YOU CAN HELP:
Make a donation.
If you wish to support charity and event, you can simply donate the money to help cover a bunch of supplies.
WHY IS THIS IMPORTANT?
Everyone counts here in New Jersey and the difference that Habitat for Humanity makes is gigantic.
The family that receives this incredible gift will earn it. They’ll be banging nails right alongside us and they’re specially picked because of their work ethic and dedication to the project.
This isn’t a hand out… but a way for a family to get a leg up on a better, more stable life in rockin’ New Jersey.
Please join us in thanking the local businesses who have realized how awesome this project is; without them we’d be nowhere.
