TC here and you probably know I LOVE new music and new music discovery! That is a BIG part of the WDHA experience!
We are starting the year off strong with some quality rockers with different styles, textures and sonic originality!
Here are a few that caught my ears and eyes as we head into a new year!
Koe Wetzel

Koe Wetzel- Creeps
Mix rock, country and grunge and self described as "Hillbilly Punk-Rock" - Koe is making some noise with his fifth release "Hell Paso" - Great title! and his song "Creeps"
Tigercub
Out of the U.K. (you know I love a great three piece) these three Gents BRING IT! Led by the super charismatic Jamie Stephen Hall they were recent openers for Highly Suspect and blew the crowd away nightly!
Tigercub- The Perfume Of Decay
Hardy
While (Michael Wilson) Hardy may be best known for writing country hits, (for Florida Georgia Line, Blake Shelton and more) he is a ROCK BANGER and this is one of my favorite new WDHA tunes! "Jack" is addicting.......JACK- Not a guy, but the tribute to an adult beverage
Hardy rocks The Hammerstein Ballroom on 2/24!
Hardy- Jack
Thundermother
I featured this band in another story I wrote last year about female rockers and I just LOVE these Ladies out of Sweden carrying the flag for HARD ROCK!
I hope 2023 is the year of THUNDERMOTHER! Anthemic rock jams, an AC/DC , Motorhead vibe and a tour with The Scorpions under their young belts, Thundermother IS Rock ands Roll!
Thundermother- Black and Gold
Jared James Nicholas
An awesome guitar jammer in every sense of the word, JJN has won many prestigious playing contests including the "Gibson Les Paul Tribute Contest" and "The Musicians Institute Outstanding Artist Award" - Love young guitarists keeping guitar rock alive! He has also toured with Zakk Wylde, Skynyrd and John 5. Not too shabby ....
JJN- Down The Drain
