I’m compiling a “Puppy Playlist” of some of mine and Rosie’s favorite rocking tunes.
Because Dog spelled backwards is ROCK!
Lots of these songs are certainly with shelter dogs in mind and we will have many at the event.

  Two classics (One from ROCKS- the greatest record) from one of the most iconic rock bands EVER!

• AC/DC- Given The Dog A Bone

  AC/DC from Back In Black – Perhaps not about a dog , but who cares? It’s a banger!

• Queen- You're My Best Friend

  The ultimate tune about our furry besties.  Best friends indeed.

• George Thorogood and The Destroyers- Bad To The Bone

  This one is always playing when my scrappy Rosie enters a room. (Well at least in my head!)

• Foo Fighters- Rescued

  Perfect for rescue pups, I’ll have this on the event playlist!

• The Rolling Stones- Gimme Shelter

  Shelter Pups- A great anthem.

• Led Zeppelin- Black Dog

  Love the Black Dogs! And this killer Zep classic!

• David Bowie- Diamond Dogs

  They are all diamonds! And so is this Bowie classic….

• Heart- Dog & Butterfly

  One of the most beautiful Heart songs, it was inspired by Ann’s dog chasing a butterfly.

  Love this one. Simple, impactful and meaningful.

• Nazareth- Hair Of the Dog

  What a classic! Such a fun rocker and one me and Rosie Carr love to go running to!

• Motley Crue- Home Sweet Home

  A shelter dog ANTHEM- Whenever this tune is played at a DHA Dog Event – I CRY!!!

  Let’s get them all homes on 6/3!

• Queen- Somebody to Love

  Yup another Queen classic (Come on…you can never have enough Queen!)

  “Can Anybody Find Me Somebody To Love”? Perfect for dogs looking for pooch smooches and hound hugs!
