While analyzing more than 1,000 search terms and polling homeowners across the country, Lombardo Homes released its report naming the states with the most Halloween decorations.

You might ask yourself why does that matter? Well, if you love Halloween decor and are looking for your next fall weekend getaway or even just want to go for a drive, perhaps New Jersey is your best bet.

Now let’s get into the specifics because the pumpkin is the most popular decoration for the state of New Jersey based on Google search volume. The company’s data also revealed that the average amount of money spent on decorations each year is $145 with 20% of those buyers setting them up prior to October 1.
