It should be no surprise that Bada Bing! featured in The Sopranos made this list coming in at No. 8. The filming location was set at an actual exotic dance club called Satin Dolls in Lodi, New Jersey.
The Sopranos aired from 1999 until 2007 bringing fans six seasons of countless laughs and unforgettable scenes at Bada Bing! starring Tony Soprano (RIP James Gandolfini).
This next bar took the No. 10 spot and there are probably a few of you that still dream of hanging out at MacLaren’s Bar featured in How I Met Your Mother to this day. Scenes for the show were all filmed at a studio in LA but it was based on the NYC pub McGee’s.
The “friendly Irish neighborhood pub” and home of How I Met Your Mother is only 3 blocks from Central Park and has become quite the tourist attraction for fans of the show. McGee’s (MacLaren’s) is even the final stop on the NYC Tv & Movie Tour.
According to the restaurant’s website, customers can take part in How I Met Your Mother Monday’s which includes cocktails and a menu inspired by the show.
