If you are someone who enjoys having people over like me, then you know that it is important to have the proper hosting essentials. Now, I know, some people just let people come over and don’t change up a thing… That is NOT me. I am very big when it comes to hosting gatherings at my home and everything flows and makes sense. From specific dishes to hold food and snacks, cups, my bar being stocked, just any and everything you can think of I probably have.

When people are coming I like to have everything I need to entertain. Whether it’s a dinner party, a game night, or even watching a show together. I know we’re going to need some items. A host’s job can be hard though. If you haven’t had a lot of people over before, you’re probably wondering where to begin. For us, we always start with the food and drink stations. It’s the part most people are going to utilize the most.

You’ll want to take into account how big your party is too. Are you hosting a quiet wine night so only a charcuterie board is needed? Or are you doing a Sunday Football watch party? Those are two very different events and may require different items. But don’t worry. That’s where I come in. I’ve got several different pieces that could help you with either event. In some cases, you may end up buying multiple products to make sure you serve everyone just right. So, sit back, relax, and check out these 7 hosting essentials you need to become the hostess with the mostest.

  • Ice Bucket

Now, everyone wants a cold drink but if you’re like me and in an apartment or simply like things more aesthetically pleasing then this is for you. A cute ice bucket to hold ice and all your favorite drinks. It also limits the number of times people are in and out of your refrigerator.

  • Condiment Server

Here is one you can use a few ways. Of course, with burgers and hot dogs, the toppings can be easily separated. But, I LOVE doing taco bars and this bad boy makes it so much easier to separate things for such a cute build-your-own taco bar.

  • Glass Beverage Dispenser

For those that make great drinks from scratch or simply don’t want to use the jug that it originally came in, here are some trendy glass dispensers. Now, I am certainly going to make a mixed alcoholic drink for the adults to enjoy so these are great to hold them and easily dispense them to those 21 and up.

  • Cheese Board Set

Now, charcuterie is really a big deal to some people. I am one of them! If I am going to take my time to make this cute display of cheeses and snacks, it has to be on an even cuter board. So, this set is for the person that thinks just like me.

  • Utensil Caddy

I do indeed have one of these, call me extra I don’t care! But, the little catchphrase is just adorable but I really just got this for the look. You can always just set the plates, cups, and utensils on your table but why not be a little extra and get a holder just for them? I see no issue with it!
