Paul Stanley Slams Marilyn Manson For Charles Manson Tribute Post
Marilyn Manson‘s tribute to the late Charles Manson has not gone down well with some folks — including KISS frontman Paul Stanley.
After Manson saluted the convicted mass murderer by posting his previously released version of the elder Manson’s 1970 song “Sick City” on Twitter, Stanley blasted him on Twitter, writing that it’s “pathetic when somebody whose career never really took off is desperate enough to try for publicity by connecting himself to the news of a murdering scumbag’s death.”

Marilyn Manson, of course, took his stage surname from Charles Manson, combining it with the first name from Marilyn Monroe (he was born Brian Warner). Marilyn Manson recorded “Sick City” during 2000 and first released it during a Valentine’s Day podcast that same year.
He accompanied the tweet of the song with a photo of a Life magazine cover featuring Charles Manson, changing the magazine title to Lie.
