Jack White Scores Third Billboard No. 1
Third solo album = third number one debut for Jack White!
Per Billboard, White’s Boarding House Reach will top the Billboard 200 album chart by moving 124,000 units in its first week of release, with 121,000 of that total coming from traditional albums sales. Believe it or not, those figures are the second-biggest sales week in 2018 so far, with the biggest sales week coming from Justin Timberlake’s Man of the Woods, which sold 242,000 units its debut week.
The figures also include albums sold as part of a ticket bundle sale for White’s upcoming North American tour.
What will be really interesting to see is the number of vinyl sales that make up those debut numbers considering White’s affinity for the medium.
