Now, one day later, new details have surfaced about why the show is ending.
According to Entertainment Weekly, Jim Parsons, who plays the ever peculiar but lovable role of Sheldon Cooper was ready to move on.
In truth, CBS hoped to run the show for at least two more seasons, but Parsons was ready to part ways with his character.
So there you have it.
While Parsons is ready to move on, one castmate in particular spoke out about the news, saying she was heartbroken season 12 will be all that’s left of ‘The Big Bang Theory.’
Still, Kaley Cuoco promised fans the last season would be amazing and unforgettable.
