Slash News Round-Up: Divorce Settlement, ‘Kimmel’ Appearance
If you wanted another reason to consider a prenup, just check out Slash’s divorce settlement with ex-wife Perla Ferrar.
TMZ reported all the divorce settlement details which lists Slash paying Ferrar $6.6 million, $100,000/month in spousal support and $39,000/month in child support. Ferrar also was awarded the couple’s Los Angeles home and three different cars, a Range Rover and two Mercedes. Slash’s children, London and Cash, will receive 0.09 percent of Slash’s future earnings for the next 20 years.
And what did Slash get in the settlement? He got a Ford F-150, the couple’s home in Beverly Hills, all of his guitars and full ownership of musical compositions with any future earning from those compositions going only to him.
Slash and Ferrar’s divorce proceedings began in 2014, and dragged on for years because the couple didn’t have a prenup. So, for those in the back who didn’t hear it the first time, if you have a lot of assets to protect, holla, “We want prenup!”
In other, and decidedly more positive, Slash news: He and Myles Kennedy & The Conspirators will be performing on the September 12 episode of ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live! The performance will come a day before the act begins their North American tour in support of their new album Living The Dream, which comes out September 21 and is available for pre-order in multiple formats and on various platforms here.
