ICYMI: Metallica Giving Away Free Show Downloads to Concert Goers
If you were lucky enough to snag tickets to Metallica’s current North American tour, you better make sure to hold onto your ticket stub or the less aesthetically pleasing computer printout.
The band announced that each tour stop will be recorded, and fans in attendance can obtain a free download of the show by entering their ticket barcode at LiveMetallica.com/Scan.
Each show will be mixed and mastered and become available for download about three days after the original date.
Hopefully, more bands will do this in the future, because this is an incredible souvenir!
