David Bowie: Details on His Two Record Store Day Releases
David Bowie is once again taking part in Record Store Day this year with two titles.
I’m Only Dancing (The Soul Tour ’74) is a live LP featuring recordings from Bowie’s October 20, 1974 show at the Michigan Palace in Detroit and his November 30, 1974 performance at the Municipal Auditorium in Nashville. ChangesNowBowie is a nine-track set that was recorded in November 1996 at Looking Glass Studios in New York City before rehearsals for Bowie’s Madison Square Garden Show in honor of his 50th birthday. The songs were originally part of a BBC radio broadcast that aired on Bowie’s proper 50th birthday on January 8, 1997.
