Mick Fleetwood’s Peter Green Tribute Featuring Steven Tyler, David Gilmour: Video & Setlist
Mick Fleetwood pulled out all the stops and assembled an incredible all-star collection of musicians for his tribute concert honoring Fleetwood Mac’s founding guitarist Peter Green.
Steven Tyler, David Gilmour, Pete Townshend, Kirk Hammett, Billy Gibbons, Christine McVie, John McVie, Bill Wyman and Noel Gallagher were among the stacked bill which featured an equally stacked setlist of Fleetwood Mac songs and blues covers. Fleetwood told Ultimate Classic Rock, “The concert is a celebration of those early blues days where we all began. And it’s important to recognize the profound impact Peter and the early Fleetwood Mac had on the world of music. Peter was my greatest mentor and it gives me such joy to pay tribute to his incredible talent. I am honored to be sharing the stage with some of the many artists Peter has inspired over the years and who share my great respect for this remarkable musician.”
The performance at the London Palladium last night (February 25) was recorded and will be released on October 16 in various formats which are currently available for pre-order here.
