Nirvana’s ‘Stay Away’ Has Been Reworked into ‘Stay Inside’ During the Coronavirus Pandemic
The latest song to get a Coronavirus reworking: Nirvana’s “Stay Away.”
The Nevermind track has been cleverly reworked by YouTuber Urian Hackney into “Stay Inside!” The lyrics include, “Wipe every surface clean (I sanitize!) / Stock up on rice and beans (I sanitize!)/Stay your stupid ass inside/Plan your trip another time.”
The cover has gained enough traction that it’s even been shared by Nirvana’s and Foo Fighters’ Facebook pages, which is the only type of viral that any of us like anymore.
