Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson Headlining Live Netflix Boxing Event
Jake Paul will face Mike Tyson in a boxing event streaming live on Netflix on Saturday, July 20 from AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

According to a Netflix press release, the “heavyweight boxing mega-event” is a joint venture with Most Valuable Promotions (MVP). MVP was founded by Paul and Nakisa Bidarian in 2021. Per its bio, “With the mission to provide more creative control to fighters, MVP works to identify, grow, and maximize return for its own events and talent partners. Since its inception, MVP has consistently produced the biggest combat sports pay-per-view events.”
This is the latest event to be livestreamed via the streaming giant. Other past live events to stream on Netflix include The 30th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards, The Netflix Slam, The Netflix Cup and Chris Rock: Selective Outrage.

In a statement, “The Problem Child” said about facing “The Baddest Man on the Planet,” “It’s crazy to think that in my second pro fight, I went viral for knocking out Nate Robinson on Mike Tyson’s undercard. Now, less than four years later, I’m stepping up to face Tyson myself to see if I have what it takes to beat one of boxing’s most notorious fighters and biggest icons.”
Paul noted in his statement that he has aspirations of becoming a world champion and hopes proving himself against Tyson will further elevate his status in boxing.

In his own statement, Tyson said of Paul, “He’s grown significantly as a boxer over the years, so it will be a lot of fun to see what the will and ambition of a ‘kid’ can do with the experience and aptitude of a GOAT.”
“Iron Mike” added, “It’s a full circle moment that will be beyond thrilling to watch; as I started him off on his boxing journey on the undercard of my fight with Roy Jones, and now I plan to finish him.”
