Somerset Patriots GM Patrick McVerry on the Jolt

Hurricane Ida swept through New Jersey earlier this month, leaving a trail of flooded homes, roads, and businesses behind. The Somerset Patriots, the AA affiliate of the New York Yankees, found the entirety of TD Bank Ballpark under water, forcing them to play some of their home games on the road. The Patriots return home this weekend, thanks to the amazing work by the team's ground crew and staff. Patriots President and General Manager Patrick McVerry called into the WDHA Morning Jolt to talk with Jim Monaghan about the impact of the storm, the resilience of his co-workers, and Anthony Volpe, a Yankees minor leaguer who will hopefully be in Somerset sooner rather than later.
