Terrie Carr here and The Foo Fighters are coming!

We just found out that the Foo Fighters are coming for a HUGE summer tour with two dates at New York’s City Field!
For the “Everything Or Nothing At All” Tour!

Wednesday July 17th (with Mammoth WVH and The Pretenders opening YEAH!!!) and Friday July 19th (with The Hives and Amyl and The Sniffers opening this show) Tickets go on sale this Friday October 6th at 10a via Ticketmaster
Pre-Sale is Wednesday 10/4.

The 10 city Foo Fighters stadium tour kicks off in New York and is their first official tour since losing Taylor Hawkins in 2022.
They have done a bunch of shows, festivals and appearances, but official touring not so much, so it’s awesome to see them hitting the road for a series of shows. Alex G and L7 are also on select dates, but not the New York area shows.

This week for the WDHA Coffee Break we celebrate all that is FOO, but with a twist- playing NOT the hits, but rather the deeper cuts that maybe you don’t know! As soon as I mentioned this on the air, I had so many listeners hit me up about their favorite “Non- Foo- Hits”, so I’m going to include and credit some of the listeners that inspired this list (and of course include my favorite deep cut too).

Lets’s span the Foo’s career and grab some buried treasures and of course tune into the WDHA Coffee Break all week for these listener pick, hidden gems. And a few of my favorite Foo Fighters songs as well.
Have a favorite you would like me to play for the WDHA Coffee Break this week? As always hit me up at 973-292-1055 (yes, I will answer!!) OR feel free to email me at [email protected].
We will see you at Citified NEXT summer!

  • Outside- Sonic Highways - 2014

One of the great underrated tunes of all time. Outside was part of the Sonic Highways project and is hands down in my top three Foo Fighters songs of all time. The power of this tune is SO understated and brilliant and I love Taylor’s playing so much on Outside- Watch the video- the car pulls up and BOOM! One of my all-time favorite guitar players JOE WALSH pops in and melts your face, head and limbs off with the sweetest solo.
    Damn , I LOVE this one……

  • Hey, Johnny Park- The Colour And The Shape - 1997

Rumored to be about an actual childhood friend of Dave’s from back in the day “Hey, Johnny Park” , this song is a fan favorite and has such beautiful backing vocals- Thomas in Little Falls loved this one as did our own Mike Anthony!

  • White Limo - Wasting Light- 2011

There was no way this song was wasn’t getting on the list! So many listeners hit me up about this one- But come on- we all just wanted to see Lemmy driving the Foo’s around in the video! AMAZING! Grab your power chord and let’s GO!

  • Sean- Saint Cecelia EP-

Listener Kelly suggested this one and I couldn’t agree more! Rumored to be about a wild roadie with the band (Sean Cox)  Sean, is a punk filled, anthemic short and sweet fun ride on the Foos train!

  • Band On The Run (Wings Cover)

I love Foo Fighters covers, especially those from the 70’s and while many might know their cover of Gerry Rafferty’s “Baker Street” , you may not have heard this incredible version of the Wings classic “Band On The Run”. – Recorded in 2007 at Abbey Road Studios with Sir Paul stopping by to visit it can be found on the bands 2011 compilation “Medium Rare”.
