This e that know me know I have mad love for John Waite. His vocals move me and the body of his work is timeless.
The Baby’s shaped my early rock years, his solo work is phenomenal and he is still making fantastic music HIS WAY!
In this interview with John we discuss his upcoming show at Carteret Pac, his love affair with the audience and his documentary film “The Hard Way” streaming everywhere. Interview below….

    What a classic….the piano, the Babettes on backing vocals. This song floats for me. I’m transported. I LOVE it.

    John’s vocal on “Change” always gives me chills. And the video is perfect, was an MTV Classic and brings back the BEST memories.

    John’s vocal on this tune is SO SEXY! The Baby’s Anthology is a must have for fans of 70’s rock.

    Desperation, sadness and longing. This song defined the 80’s and made John a household name.

    While most people choose “When I See You Smile” (it his a beautiful song) – This forgotten banger from John’s Bad English days should not be overlooked.

    “Me and Baby- Are Going Out Tonight”…I could sing this one forever!

    Co-Written by Vinnie Vincent and recorded by many…..NO ONE delivers a song like John and this is the perfect example.
