  • Helping Veterans Transition Back To Civilian Life

Each year roughly 200,000 military veterans, both men and women, leave the service and make the transition back to civilian life.

This morning on Jersey Magazine, Jim Monaghan speaks with Jan Rutherford, a former Green Beret and founder of Self-Reliant Leadership where he coaches executives, and leads Crucible wilderness expeditions with executives and veterans.

  • Rock N Ruff

WDHA’s Rock N’ Ruff is back with a spectacular young dog! Meet Diesel from RBARI – Ramapo Bergen Animal Refuge!

It’s Terrie Carr with another epic adoptable looking for a forever home! Dials is the perfect example of the amazing dogs waiting in your local shelter groups.

    Diesel Is So Handsome!

Diesel and Alex in the WDHA Studio

Diesel (the rockstar) is a young Husky mix, that came from an overcrowded shelter to RBARI, to find a new family to love him! Diesel is a year old, VERY friendly, super smart, aims to please, is loyal, and energetic! In typical Husky fashion, he loves to play, figure things out, and bond with his humans. He’s a great dog. Large but not too large.

Young, but not too young- although a year is still considered a puppy, so training and patience are always key with young dogs, however, Diesel is a very quick learner. He even loved taking a crack at the mic in the WDHA studio! And of course, hanging with our staff! He loves meeting everyone at WDHA and would even like a doggie friend to play with.

    How To Adopt Diesel!

Reach out to our friends at RBARI – they are at 2 Shelter Lane in Oakland New Jersey, 07436

  • Coach Sheets Ride In

Jeremy Sheetinger is the head baseball coach atGeorgia Gwinnett Colleg where he led the Grizz Gang to the 2021 NAIA National Championship.

These quick hits may, on the surface, be geared toward his fellow baseball coaches, but his motivational message can easily be applied to the classroom, workplace, and your personal relationships.

This week, Coach Sheets returns to a topic we’ve discussed recently – are you going to listen to people who will tell you what you want to hear, or are you going to seek advice from those who will tell you the truth?
