Bethel Woods is the site of the original 1969 Woodstock Music and Arts Festival, just a short drive from here in New Jersey to New York’s Catskills region.
With the current trend of camping and “glamping” — which accounted for approximately 32 percent of all leisure trips taken in 2022 — Bethel Woods has something brand new for the 2024 concert season – an amazing on-site camping experience.
Just like the festival’s alumni once did, visitors can experience an unforgettable night of camping under the stars at the iconic site. The new state-of-the-art campground is designed to cater to a variety of preferences, featuring basic campsite amenities as well as luxurious glamping facilities.
This morning on Jersey Magazine, we’re chatting with Eric Frances, the CEO of Bethel Woods Center for the Arts and he has all the details.
