Instagram Launches New Feature That Enables Friends To Go Live Together
Calling all Instagram junkies, the social media platform just launched a new feature that promises to take your Instagram game to the next level!
Now that we have your attention, we’d like to share with you that you can now go live on the platform with another Instagram user.
And no, you don’t have to be in close proximity to one another to accomplish this.
Instagram acknowledges that going live on their platform may be intimidating to some people. However, they hope to encourage more people to share their experiences by going live with a pal.
Here’s how to go live on Instagram with a friend:
Notify your friend that you are going live and would like for them to join. Tap on your profile photo and then swipe left to the “Live” option. Go live and then tap the icon with two faces on the bottom right-hand side of your screen. Once your friend tunes in to watch the video, you can add them to your live video session by checking their name and tapping “add.”
After your friend accepts the invitation, your live session will convert to a split screen — and your friend will be visible below you.
