Bruce Springsteen Accidentally Hits Guitar Tech with His Guitar
Bruce Springsteen experienced a rare flub on stage while interacting with his longtime guitar tech Kevin Buell.
In the fan-shot video below, Springsteen tosses his guitar to Buell as he often does during shows. However, there was a miscue, and The Boss’s guitar hits Buell in the head. Buell drops the guitar and then he drops to the stage floor. The members of the E Street band appear to be a mix of concern and wanting to laugh at the genuinely funny moment.
After Springsteen checks to make sure Buell is okay, he then takes to the mic and says what sounds like, “Mad man down!” This moment happened during a February 3 show in Atlanta. Since the tour has continued with no news coming out about Buell needing time off for injury, it’s safe to assume he’s okay.
