Mark Tremonti and Eric Friedman Cover The Cars In The WDHA Studio
Mark Tremonti is such a talent- It’s Terrie Carr and I’ve known Mark for so many years. His tremendous ability to play, write, sing, and connect always amazes me. Mark is best known for his mega-band CREED, his amazing band Alter Bridg,e and his solo band Tremonti- However, Mark is so much more than his rock roots. When I heard in 2022 that Mark was putting together a Sinatra cover record, I didn’t know what to expect.
Mark had told me in interviews for years that Frank Sinatra was his biggest inspiration. I was curious; however, I was not prepared for what he delivered. Brilliant. Mark takes his “Tremonti Sings Sinatra” Holiday Show to the Hackensack Meridian Health Center at The Count Basie Center In Red Band this Thursday, 12/19- a must-experience evening. Mark has surviving members of Sinatra’s band on the project and Frank Sinatra’s musical director as well.
In 2023, Mark announced he was releasing a Christmas album, and it is FANTASTIC! There is no rock—just the classics (and one original new song) sung in the traditional style with Mark’s beautiful vocal stylings. Mark even did the artwork for the cover himself.

Here Is How Mark Describes The Tremonti Sings Sinatra Project-
“For years, Iʼve loved singing along to Frankʼs songs,” Mark explains. “One night, I found an old video of him performing ʻThe Song Is Youʼ from 1944. It made me want to dive into his vocal approach. I was all in and I wanted to do something with it. When we found out about our daughter Stellaʼs Down syndrome diagnosis, the stars aligned.
My obsession with Sinatra had its reason. Frank Sinatra raised more than a billion dollars for charity and that is a fact I wish the public knew more about. Beneath his cool and calm persona, he had a big heart. Doing this charity in his name was another way the stars had aligned. I decided to do this record to raise funds for families and individuals with Down syndrome. This project is the start of a new purpose that I will have for the rest of my life.”
