Bret Baier is the Chief Political Anchor for Fox News as well as a New York Times bestselling author.
His new book, To Rescue the Republic: Ulysses S. Grant, the Fragile Union, and the Crisis of 1876, has just been published.
In it, Bret reveals a country confronted with division along political, racial, and economic boundaries, a disputed election, a president in turmoil, and the fate of the nation possibly hanging in the balance. Amazing how history repeats itself!
Bret called into the WDHA Morning Jolt to speak with Jim Monaghan about the book, and taking a revised look at the presidency of Ulysses S. Grant.
