You made it on time! The Mander drops Rock N Roll Hall Of Famer Pat Benatar into the RRZ with Heartbreaker. It was released as a single in 1979 and became one of her signature songs, reaching the top 20 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The track’s opening guitar riff is instantly recognizable, and Benatar’s powerful vocals elevate the song to iconic status. Great Job Mander! Enjoy the show. Salute!

Crazy Cousin Carl lands at #1 with Bodies by Drowning Pool. This track never gets old. If I could scream like David Wayne Williams does in this song, I would just sit in my bedroom and scream like that everyday. LOL!!  Bodies quickly became a hit in 2001 and has had a significant impact on the world of heavy metal. the heavy metal anthem has stood the test of time and has become a staple of rock radio and has been featured in numerous movies, TV shows, and video games. Bodies has also sparked controversy over the years. Some have criticized its violent imagery and suggested that it promotes aggression and even violence. However, the band has always maintained that the song is simply a celebration of the energy and adrenaline of a live concert, and that any violent interpretation of the lyrics is misguided. Sadly,  Lead singer David Wayne Williams passed away in 2002, just a year after the song’s release. His death was a tragic loss for the band and for the music world as a whole. However, “Bodies” has continued to live on as a testament to his talent and the band’s legacy. Great Job Crazy Cousin Carl. Your #1! Salute!
