Talking Heads is one of the most popular rock groups of all time. The band has gone through many changes throughout the years but has always been consistent with their music up until their end in 1991. But, through two of the band’s members, Jerry Harrison and Adrian Belew, Talking Heads lives on. Remain in Light is a Talking Heads tribute band made up of the two former members, created to honor Talking Head’s most iconic album Remain in Light. Both members sing vocals and play the guitar, playing covers of the group’s most famous songs.
Jerry Harrison started playing in bands in 1971 with The Modern Lovers, before joining Talking Heads in 1977. He was invited to join the group by the band’s bassist, Tina Weymouth. After he saw them perform, he fell in love with their music and decided to play with them. While in the group, Harrison also wrote songs, and even designed the Fear of Music (1979) album cover. He also has a solo career, releasing three albums in under ten years, writing songs that were used in films, producing for other bands, and even becoming the chairman of two different companies. 2021 was when he first started touring as Remain in Light with Adrian Belew and other artists.
Adrian Belew was discovered in 1977 by Frank Zappa. After playing with him for about a year, he was then given the opportunity to tour with David Bowie as lead guitarist and on backing vocals, as well as contribute to Bowie’s album Lodger (1979). Belew continued playing for various bands throughout the years, making connections along the way. During this time, he became well-known with members of Talking Heads and would play with them live occasionally. He was also hired to play guitar for a few tracks on their album Remain in Light (1980). Belew had a solo career and continued to play with other bands.
Now, both Harrison and Belew are playing together again, playing classic Talking Heads songs such as “Psycho Killer,” “Once in a Lifetime,” “The Great Curve,” and many others.

Must be at least 18 years old and legal residents of the United States. Unless otherwise specified, listeners are eligible to win in station’s contests; a prize valued under $600 only once every seven (7) days and a prize valued at $600 or more, only once every thirty (30) days.
