ULTIMATE ROCK DOG 2025

CONTEST RULES

These rules apply to the WDHA Ultimate Rock Dog 2025 Contest (“Contest”) conducted by Beasley Media Group, LLC d/b/a 105.5 WDHA (the “Station”). In addition, the General Contest Rules posted at www.wdhafm.com apply to this Contest. If there is a conflict between the General Contest Rules and the Rules for this Contest, the Rules for this Contest shall control.

1. HOW TO ENTER

2024. The Contest will begin on August 26, 2024 and end on September 8, 2024.

1. To enter online, visit www.wdhafm.com and follow the links and instructions to enter the Contest and complete and submit the online entry form including a photo of your dog (“Photo”) beginning on Monday, August 26, 2024 at 12:00 PM Eastern Time (“ET”) and ending on Sunday, September 8, 2024 at 11:59 PM ET (“Online Entry Period”). Online entrants are subject to all notices posted online including but not limited to the Station's Privacy Policy. Limit one (1) entry per eligible person per dog during the Online Entry Period regardless if entrant has more than one email address. Limit one (1) dog per submission. Any photo with more than one (1) dog will not be accepted. Multiple entrants are not permitted to share the same email address. Dogs that have already been in an Ultimate Rock Dog contest will not be eligible to participate. Entries submitted may not be acknowledged or returned. Proof of submission of an entry shall not be deemed proof of receipt by the Contest administrator. The same dog may not be entered more than one (1) time.
2. Each Photo must be submitted in digital form in JPEG or PNG format (600kb). Entrants must fill in all required fields, including name, email, phone number and date of birth in the online entry form. Each Photo submitted may feature only the dog and must not contain copyrighted materials or any other materials that may be restricted, prohibited, or outlawed by any laws, or materials that may otherwise infringe on the rights of a third party. Entrant acknowledges and agrees that professional photographs (i.e., photographs taken by a photographer who was paid to take such photographs) are not eligible unless the entrant has rights to post that Photo. The Photo may not invade publicity rights or privacy of any person, living or deceased, or otherwise infringe upon any person’s personal or proprietary rights including but not limited to copyrights or trademarks. The Station shall have the right to disqualify any entrant if it determines that the Photo contains copyrighted material or material that infringes on the rights of another; indecent or otherwise offensive material such as violence or drug abuse; or if such Photo contains material that is deemed to be unsuitable for a public audience. Photo will be posted on each Station’s website at wdhafm.com or and by submitting a Photo, entrant (1) certifies that he or she has all rights necessary to use the Photo, and (2) grants Station permission to use the Photo for Contest and other promotional purposes. The Station’s determinations with respect to all such matters shall be made in its sole discretion and shall be final. Photos that do not comply with these rules will not be eligible for the Contest.
3. There will be up to a total of twelve (12) Qualifying Prize winners and one (1) Grand Prize winner selected in the Contest.

2. ELIGIBILITY RESTRICTIONS

1. This Contest is open to all Station listeners who are 18 years of age or older as of the date of entry into the Contest, who are legal US residents and reside in New Jersey, except where prohibited by law. Winners must possess a valid, government-issued ID and show proof of New Jersey residency to verify eligibility. Station may require winner to provide proof of dog ownership upon request.

3. PRIZES

1. Up to twelve (12) Qualifying Prizes will be awarded. Each Qualifying Prize consists of the opportunity for the Qualifying Prize winner’s dog to be included in the 2025 WDHA Ultimate Rock Dog Calendar. There is no cash or other retail value associated with the Qualifying Prize.

300. Up to one (1) Grand Prize will be awarded. The Grand Prize consists of: (i) the opportunity for the winning dog on the cover of the 2025 WDHA Ultimate Rock Dog Calendar; (ii) a pair of tickets to an upcoming WDHA exclusive holiday show (to be announced in September) and; (iii) an assortment of WDHA promotional merchandise. Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”) of the Grand Prize is $300.

The winner(s) will be solely responsible for all taxes and all other fees and expenses not specified herein associated with the receipt and use of the prize(s). The prize(s) is awarded as is. Tickets valid only on the date(s) printed on the tickets. Tickets are not refundable or transferable, and may not be substituted or exchanged for cash or credit at any time, nor will tickets be replaced if lost or stolen. Tickets may not be sold to a third party. If a prize-related event is unable to take place as scheduled, for reasons such as cancellation, preemption, postponement or unavailability, including for weather, or for any reason beyond control of the Station and/or prize provider, their sole responsibility to the winner(s) will be to award the remaining available elements of the prize(s) and no substitution or compensation will be provided for the unawarded element(s) of the prize(s). The Station and/or venue, in their sole discretion, reserve the right to deny entry to or to remove the winner(s) and/or guest(s) if either engages in disruptive behavior or in a manner with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person at the prize-related event.

1. Prizes or prize certificates must be claimed on Saturday, October 5, 2024 at Puptoberfest at Horseshoe Lake in Succasunna, NJ at the Grand Prize Event. Failure to claim Prize by the specified time will result in forfeiture of the prize. It is the winner’s sole responsibility to claim the prize or prize certificate within the timeline provided in these Official Rules.

4. SELECTION OF WINNERS

1. Up to twelve (12) Qualifying Prize winners and one (1) Grand Prize winner will be selected as follows:
   1. Round 1:

Beginning on Tuesday, September 10, 2024 at 1:05 pm ET and ending on Sunday, September 29, 2024 at 11:59 pm ET listeners will be encouraged to go online at www.wdhafm.com and vote for his/her favorite Dog. During Round 1, listeners will be able to vote to help determine the top twelve (12) Dogs who will advance to Round 2 as described below. The top twelve (12) Dogs will be determined by a Station judging committee based on the creativity and originality of the Photo, dog “rockability,” and the creativity and originality of the story submitted describing why the entrant’s Dog deserve to be in the calendar. At the conclusion of Round 1, up to twelve (12) Dogs will be selected to advance to Round 2 and the entrants who submitted the advancing Dogs’ photos will each be awarded a Qualifying Prize upon confirmation of eligibility. Each person may cast a maximum of one (1) vote per hour during the Round 1 voting period. The number of votes will not determine the top twelve (12) Dogs advancing to Round 2, but Station may take into consideration the number of votes.

1. Round 2:

The top twelve (12) Dogs and their respective owner must be present on Saturday, October 5, 2024 between 12:00pm ET and 2:00pm ET, but in no case any later than 2:00pm ET, at Puptoberfest at Horseshoe Lake in Succasunna, NJ (the “Grand Prize Event”). At approximately 1:00 PM ET, The Ultimate Rock Dog Judging Panel will determine the Grand Prize-winning dog and runner-up based on Cuteness and Rock-ness. The Station will announce the Grand Prize-winning Dog on-site. In the case the entrant who submitted the Grand Prize-winning Dog’s Photo is not present, the entrant will be disqualified and an alternate Grand Prize-winning Dog will be selected from all remaining Dogs based on the judging criteria above.

1. Entrants are permitted to vote, along with any other Station listeners. The Station, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to disqualify any person tampering with the voting process or who is otherwise in violation of the rules. In addition, any person tampering with the voting process on behalf of one of the entrants will result in the disqualification of that entrant. All votes must be received by the closing of the applicable voting period.

1. Entrants are not required to listen to the Station to win but the top twelve (12) Dogs and entrants must be present at the Grand Prize Event to win and claim the Grand Prize as described above.

1. Entrants will be notified via phone call and/or email as their Dog advances in the Contest.

1. Decisions of Station management with respect to the Contest are final.

5. CONDITIONS

1. The Station reserves the right to end any contest or amend these rules upon announcement on air and by publication at wdhafm.com.

1. For website contests: By use of the Station’s website and by entering this Contest, entrants agree to the Station’s Terms of Service Agreement and to the use of Personal Information as stated in the Privacy Policy located at wdhafm.com

1. Copies of the written Contest rules and a list of all winners are available during regular business hours at the main studio of the Station, 55 Horsehill Rd, Cedar Knolls, NJ 07927, or by sending a self-addressed, stamped envelope to the Station.
