Check out Frontiers – The World’s Number One Tribute to Journey at the South Orange Performing Arts Center on Saturday, July 20th at 8pm!

One of the most iconic rock bands of all time, Journey is a timeless band that has inspired many other music acts. Starting in 1973, Journey began their career successfully with their debut album, Journey, released only one year later. This album helped them find their own unique sound of rock mixed with jazz elements. Journey has released popular hits such as “Separate Ways,” “Any Way You Want It,” and “Who’s Crying Now.” It was songs like these that led Journey to become one of the best-selling musical acts ever. Journey has inspired the creation of many tribute bands dedicated to their music, one of the most popular ones being Frontiers. Frontiers is one of the most well-known Journey tribute bands in the world. The band is made up of five members, who all take on roles just like the original members of Journey. The lead singer, Elaine Tuttle, is known for being an extremely versatile singer with amazing stage presence. On guitars and vocals there is Damon Marks who has played with major artists such as Jermaine Paul and Bret Michaels. Paul Santana plays the keyboard and sings who has also worked as a successful producer in his past. The bassist and vocalist, Marc Windler, has musical experience in rock, jazz, and funk, and has performed with many successful artists. Finally, there is Gerry Fortus on drums who has been playing hard rock and metal music ever since he was a teenager. From the sound of the music, all the way down to the stage lights, Frontiers creates an authentic concert experience as if you were watching Journey themselves performing live. You would not want to miss the chance to watch Frontier bring the magic of Journey to life, singing some of Journey’s most classic hits, such as “Don’t Stop Believing,” “Faithfully,” “Open Arms,” and many others.
