One of the most monumental Led Zeppelin tribute bands around, KASHMIR featuring Jean Violet, has been making waves in the music world. KASHMIR was founded by their lead singer, Jean Violet, in 2000, and the band has been rocking together for over twenty years since. The band’s members include Jean Violet, Kevin Slover, Lenny Lee, and David Blampied. Part of the reason KASHMIR is known as one of the country’s top tribute bands for Led Zeppelin is because the group does such a fantastic job at portraying each of the original band members, creating an authentic Led Zeppelin experience both live and in the studio. Jean Violet takes on the role of a younger Robert Plant, even rocking with the iconic long blonde hair he’s known for. On guitar, Kevin Slover personifies a young Jimmy Page, matching some of his most popular outfits, as well. Lenny Lee plays multiple instruments in KASHMIR, taking on the role of John Paul Jones. Lastly, David Blampied is the drummer for the band and rocks just as hard as John Bonham himself. The group is known for putting on shows that are just as visually dynamic as any Led Zeppelin performance is.
