Since 2010, Wage War has been rocking the American metalcore scene. The group consists of five members with Briton Bond on lead vocals, Seth Blake on lead guitar, Cody Quistad on rhythm guitar, Chris Gaylord on bass guitar, and Stephen Kluesener on drums. They released their first album Blueprints through Fearless Records in 2015. This debut album made its way to the top 10 of both the Top Hard Rock Albums chart and the Heatseekers chart.
Wage War’s second album, Deadweight (2017), featured some of their most popular songs to this date, including “Stitch,” “Witness,” “Johnny Cash,” and “Don’t Let Me Fade Away.” This album received even higher success than their previous album, landing on two different Billboard charts, including the Top Hard Rock Albums chart at number two.
In 2019, the band wanted to focus on creating an album that represents Wage War well. That was accomplished with their album, Pressure (2019). This album was different than their previous ones in the aspect that the band revealed more of an insight of their minds. Not only did this album also land on even more charts again, but Pressure also received high praise from many critics. Some of their most well-known songs came from this album such as “Who I Am” “Low,” “Will We Ever Learn,” “Forget My Name.”
Wage War’s fourth studio album, Manic (2021), was created to both appeal to current fans and to attract new ones. Some featured songs from this album include “Death Roll,” “Teeth,” “Relapse,” “High Horse,” “Circle The Drain,” and many others.
Wage War released their latest album this year titled STIGMA. Featuring instant favorites such as “MAGNETIC” and “NAIL5,” Wage War continues to leave their mark in the metal world, proving what it means to really rock.
