If you have never listened to Weezer’s “Island in the Sun” (2001), some may ask whether you have been living under a rock. Weezer is an American alternative rock band, known for their distinct sound. The band came together in Los Angeles, California in1992, and since have become a notable reference to 90’s culture. The band currently consists of four members– Rivers Cuomo, Patrick Wilson, Brian Bell, and Scott Shriner; Previous Members include Mikey Welsh, Matt Sharp, and Jason Cropper.

Weezer has created copious amounts of music throughout their extensive four-decade long career, with 19 studio albums released, including their most popular being The Blue Album (1992), and The Green Album (2001), and their most recent albums being their SZNZ (seasons) collection, which was a musical project created by Cuomo released in 2022 , who wanted to give musical elements based on different themes and motifs for each corresponding season. Along with their albums, Weezer has released 37 singles, many reaching the top 100 in the United States.

Weezer has had the ability and privilege to perform alongside other amazing acts in their industry, including Panic! At the Disco, Blink-182, Foo Fighters and other incredible acts in the rock space. Along with the band having an extensive library, their touring locations have also become a very long list. The band has been to many places over the years, performing at festivals like Lollapalooza, Warped Tour, and Coachella, as well as incredible venues like Madison Square Garden, the Hollywood Bowl, and Webley Arena in London. The band is known for their energetic and engaging performances, connecting with audiences of all ages.

As of most recent, Weezer is set to head out on a new tour this year entitled “Voyage to the Blue Planet”, where they will be performing their entire Blue Album, as well as fan favorites and deep cuts, and being joined by Flaming Lips, and Dinosaur Jr.
