LAS VEGAS, NEVADA - AUGUST 20: A customer buys snacks at the concession stand at AMC Town Square 18 on August 20, 2020 in Las Vegas, Nevada. AMC Theatres reopened more than 100 of its movie theaters across the United States today, with new safety precautions in place, for the first time since closing in March because of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. In celebration of its 100th anniversary, the world's largest theater chain is welcoming guests back with a "Movies in 2020 at 1920 Prices" promotion for one day by offering 15-cent tickets to classic and previously-released films and USD 5 concession items. Starting on August 21, older movies will be shown for USD 5 a ticket. According to AMC, enhanced cleaning and safety protocols include disinfecting theaters before each show, mandatory face coverings for employees and customers, upgraded air filtration systems where possible, and high-touch points cleaned throughout the day. Hand sanitizer and disinfectant wipes are available throughout the theaters, auditoriums are at 40 percent capacity or less, and concession menus have been simplified for shorter lines and quicker service.

With the release of this new list, it’s safe to say that New Jersey gives a lot of you-know-whats.

A New Jersey star has been crowned the king of f-bombs. Joe Pesci is the actor who has dropped the most f-bombs in his films. The New Jersey native topped the list, which was compiled by Crossword-Solver, a website that surveyed online scripts to find out how many times actors say “f—,” “s—” and “hell” in movies.

The survey, which looked at almost 3,000 scripts, found that Pesci said “f—” 272 times in those films, the most of any actor in the scripts. But, the even more interesting fact was that 241 of those f-bombs came from just one film, Casino.

Pesci was born in Newark and grew up in Belleville. He played Nicky Santoro in the 1995 movie, which was directed by Martin Scorsese, and co-starred Robert De Niro and Sharon Stone.

The actor won an Oscar in 1991 for playing Tommy DeVito in Scorsese’s Goodfellas and was nominated again for playing Russell Bufalino in Scorsese’s The Irishman in 2019.

Pesci is set to star on a forthcoming Peacock series Bupkis starring Pete Davidson and Edie Falco. He plays grandfather to Davidson’s character in the show, which is loosely based on the Saturday Night Live alum’s life.

Pesci is not the only New Jersey actor that made the list. Take a look at the full list actors who said the most f-bombs in their films below:

Please note: The survey of movie scripts was limited to those available online to the public, which means it did not include every film an actor has made.
