As we edge ever closer to the NFL playoffs the Super Bowl picture is still not really any clearer, with a bunch of teams still in contention.

Below are our three best bets for this Week 15 of action, thanks to Dimers.com.

  • Game 1 – Tennessee Titans at Pittsburgh Steelers, December 19th

This isn’t what all the Steelers fans want to hear, but Big Ben’s time playing at Heinz Field is coming to an end.

I think he will give the city his all in his last few games while trying to sneak into the playoffs. We all know what he’s capable of, but having said that, I just can’t bite on the spread here.

What I can indulge in is the total points over. I think this has potential to be a shootout and could very well come down to a last series drive to determine the result here.

I have a gut feeling the Steelers flirt with 30 points here, so we only need the Titans offense to score around 15-20 points which is perfect because they are averaging 24.9 PPG on the year.

    PICK: Total Points OVER 43

    BEST PROP:

    Dionate Johnson OVER 6.5 receptions

The Steelers desperately need a win to keep their playoff chances alive. With the Titans secondary being very suspect at times, look for Ben to pepper Johnson early on to open up his deep ball.

Some stats to validate my reasoning here is the amount of targets he has seen over the last five games. These are 10,11,14,13 and 13.

He has also surpassed this number of receptions in four of the last 5.

I fully expect a huge game out of DJ here, and this has a good chance to be no sweat cash very early on in this contest.

  • Game 2 – Arizona Cardinals at Detroit Lions, Sunday December 19th

Yes, we got the news that all pro receiver Deandre Hopkins is done for the season. Let’s be real though, Hopkins wasn’t having the season he’d like thus far.

With the Cardinals coming off the short week, some people may not enjoy this bet, but I like their chances to bounce back in a big way and remind everyone why they are one of the better teams in the NFC.

Murray will provide enough to get through the Lions defense. With that being said, the Cardinals can and will get after Jared Goff and force him into some mistakes for the offense to capitalize on.

    Cardinals win by two touchdowns.

PICK: Cardinals to COVER spread (-13)
