Here are my top 5 creepy , scary, thrilling, and streaming series that will keep you creeped out past Halloween.

  • 5. Severance

Severance is Creepy Good! Not so much scary that you jump out of your seat screaming for your Mother. It’s scary due to it is something that could possibly happen in the future. It has a high creep factor in my opinion. I do not want to give too much away, but I can tell you that it’s a science fiction psychological thriller and that  The plot follows Mark, an employee of Lumon Industries who agrees to a “severance” program in which his non-work memories are separated from his work memories. Now Binge this show and freak yourself out.

It gets 5 stars from me Enjoy. Available on Apple TV Plus.

  • 4. The Serpent

This limited series is definitely Creepsville.

This is a True Crime story that is a twisted story about Charles Sobhraj, a  Serial killer, thief, and seductive master of disguise, who was hidden in darkness in the mid-70s on Asia’s hippie trail. Another series that has a high creep factor. Bing this series is now on Netflix. It will make you think twice about packing up that backpack and trekking across Asia and staying at Hostels. I give this series 5 stars.

  • 3. True Detective

I know, this has been out a few years but  I’m still ranking it in my top 5 because it is Creepy, Scary, and thrilling, as a M’Fer!!! I have watched it twice and may soon binge it again. Woody Harelson and Mathew Mccaugnahey are great together in this.  It falls under the Cop Horror Genre that is about two Louisiana detectives  (Mathew and Woody) that investigated the murder of a prostitute in the 90’s and seventeen years later they revisit the investigation along with other unsolved crimes. This show will have your mind bent in several different directions. I give it 5 stars. Binge it now on HBO Max, Hulu, and Youtube.

  • 2. Mindhunter

WOW, this creepy and scary true-life series had me peeping out of the blinds in my house and had me checking the yard and around the house especially at night with a bat and a flashlight. True Story! It freaked me the hell out. Probably didn’t help that I had listened to a true crime podcast about the serial killers in the show before I saw this series.

Mindunter is a psychological True Crime thriller based on the book written by the original FBI profiler now retired John E Douglas and author Mark Oishaker.

Mindhunter revolves around two FBI Profilers/agents and a psychologist who operates the Behavioral Science division at the FBI. They launch a research project to go around the country and interview imprisoned Serial Killers to try and understand their psychology and then use that to solve ongoing cases. I can’t tell you any more than that but binge it right now on Netflix. Fingers crossed for a season three. This series gets 5 stars from me.

  • 1. The Handmaids Tale

Holy SH#! this series really freaked me out. I can tell you this, take your time binging this series. Warning, if you binge straight through I can tell you that you are going to be wrecked! I did not heed that warning or know about that warning til after I binged seASONS 1-3. I find out afterward that it is not good to do that. I watched interviews with some of the stars of the show after I had binged and every one of them said in their interviews that they would not recommend bingeing each season straight through. I agree!! It is Creepy, and scary, again this can happen right here in America, and that just in itself is frightening.

This series has it all to make this my #1. Suspenseful, Creepy, scary, and sad. You will experience all those emotions constantly. I warn you that it is graphic and does contain torcher and some gore. They do not hold back in this series. It s based on the Book from the 80s by Margret Attwood. It’s about a Radical Authoritarian Religious Group that takes over America due to the fact that people are not having children. That’s all I can tell you, now go give yourself major anxiety by responsibly binging this series. Season 4 is out and can be binged, season 5 has just started with a new episode available every Wednesday. You can watch em all on Hulu.
