We just celebrated St. Patrick’s Day. So many of us had corned beef and cabbage. Maybe you drank Guinness. And of course, you may have worn Green. I’m not Irish at all, but even I had on some green. Ok, it was an Eagles Hoodie, but it had a lot of green on it. So that works! I recently asked DHA listeners to pick some songs that had a color in the title. Not necessarily Green, but any color! So, let’s look at the top rock songs with a color in the title.
For my feature First Call Last Call, I’ll post a question of the day to our DHA Facebook page. Then, an hour later, I’ll play back some listener responses as part of a block of tunes for the ride home. It’s always fun reading back through the answers. I usually have songs or bands that I focus on and it’s so fun when a listener names a tune that wasn’t even on my radar!
I could put together a block of tunes with a theme, but it’s so much more fun when it comes from you!
I’ve done a lot of lyrical themes lately in my questions. But I also just love to ask for a song or band with something specific in their name or song title. It’s somewhat humorous that when I was answering my own question on Friday, I could only think of a few songs with a color in the title. When I went to the Facebook Page to see how the answers were going, it turned out there were many songs to choose from!
DHA listeners know their music and it’s always fun to read their responses.
So, with so many colors and songs to choose from, what were the most people’s tunes? Let’s take a look at the Top rock Songs with a color in the title.
