Their baaaaaaaaack!  that is my little girl at the TV in the movie Poltergeist impression. yes The Woodbridge Division is on the list again this makes it four  nights in a row with their Covers themed request. tonight’s Cover theme request was New York Groove by Ace Frehley. When it comes to rock ‘n’ roll anthems dedicated to iconic cities, few songs capture the spirit and energy quite like Ace Frehley’s Cover of the 70’s British glam band Hello’s 1976 song “New York Groove”. As the lead guitarist of the legendary rock band KISS, Frehley’s solo endeavor brought forth this timeless track that has become synonymous with the bustling streets and vibrant atmosphere of New York City. With its infectious hooks, catchy melodies, and a distinctive guitar-driven sound, “New York Groove” stands as a testament to Frehley’s musical prowess and his love for the city that never sleeps. Great job Gang. We shall see if you make it 5 nights in a row! Salute!

Yes I had to hide this album , Shout at the Devil by Motley Crue , any Ozzy albums etc.. if she ever found them  she would say that’s devil music! Get it out of the house! Are you worshiping Satan? LOl! Gotta love 80’s Satanic Panic. Anyway, today marks the 40th anniversary of the release of “Holy Diver,” the iconic debut album by the legendary metal band DIO. At the heart of this groundbreaking record lies the powerful and relentless track “Straight Through the Heart.” With its thunderous guitar riffs, soaring vocals, and epic lyrical themes, “Straight Through the Heart” stands as a testament to the enduring legacy of both the song and the album. Four decades later, DIO’s music continues to inspire and captivate metal fans worldwide. Happy Anniversary DIO! great job Gunner! Salute!

#1. Sublime – What I got                                                                                                                                                    Requested Through – Email Request Line – [email protected]                                                                        Requested by – Commander Kyle M in Hillsborough , NJ                                                                                        1

Commander Kyle M takes the top spot  with his tribute request for frontman of Sublime Brad Nowell with “What I Got”. Twenty-Five years ago, on May 25, 1996, the music world mourned the tragic loss of Brad Nowell, the charismatic lead singer and guitarist of the iconic band Sublime. Nowell’s untimely death at the age of 28 left a void in the music industry, robbing the world of a talented artist whose fusion of reggae, punk, and ska created a sound that continues to resonate with fans to this day. Brad Nowell’s unique musical vision and charismatic presence captivated audiences during his short but influential career. Sublime’s self-titled album, released shortly after his passing, became a cult classic, showcasing Nowell’s talent for blending diverse genres and delivering catchy, introspective lyrics. Songs like “Santeria,” “What I Got,” and “Wrong Way” became anthems for a generation, elevating Sublime to a prominent position in alternative rock history. While the anniversary of Brad Nowell’s death remains a somber occasion, it also serves as a reminder to celebrate his life and the mark he left on the music world. Fans around the globe honor Nowell’s memory by revisiting his discography, sharing stories, and recognizing the profound influence he had on their lives. Rest Easy Brad, we miss you. Great Job Kyle! You are #1! Salute!
