- WOW!! I have not heard of this awesome 80s ZZ Top track in a long time. Brings back memories of my days living in Atlanta, GA. This was a #1 hit for that little ol band out of Texas.
- It reached #1 on the Billboard Mainstream Rock chart. Cash Box magazine had said that the song is a “high tech workout which makes good use of drum machines and Fairlight effects as well as the ‘lil ole band from Texas’ innate soul. I totally agree. Great Job Crazy Cousin Carl! Salute!

- Villham requested Whitesnake, so I rocked this gem that is from their 1984 album Slid It in. It has a bluesy glam metal vibe that ROCKS!!!
- In the 25th Anniversary Edition of Slide It In, Coverdale comments on the song recording by saying: “Slow & Easy was recorded at 4 in the morning in Munich after a serious night’s partying… Most of the vocals are just live ‘jam’ lyrics I made up to inspire the band as we recorded…I played around with the lyric later to try and make some sense of it…”
