The Beatles‘ Abbey Road photoshoot took place 50 years ago today (August 8), and fans marked the anniversary in grand fashion by invading the famous crosswalk.
Per NME, about 3,500 fans showed up to honor the photoshoot anniversary. Two fans even got engaged in the middle of the crosswalk, which can be seen in the gallery below.
Today also saw the announcement of the 50th anniversary reissue of Abbey Road, which is now available for pre-order at TheBeatles.com.
