"Who the ---- are all these people in the parking lot?"  "I wonder why they are here"? LOL- Humble, Happy, and Hysterical, WDHA welcomed the legend- Ace Frehley to our studios for an in-depth chat, hang, and all-around great afternoon!

The iconic Kiss guitarist, Rock and Roll Hall of Famer, Axe legend, and solo artist stopped by because ALOT is going on in Space Ace-Land these days.

Ace's amazing new record "10,000 Volts" is being released on February 24th via MNRK-Heavy - Pre-order here- MNRK Heavy, his tune 10,000 Volts is climbing the rock charts and Ace's solo tour kicks off later this month with a New Jersey stop at Carteret Pac on Saturday, April 13th- Carteret Pac.

When I was told Ace was going to stop by, I was thrilled. Being a Kiss kid growing up and such a fan of his solo work, I couldn't wait to get him in the WDHA studio and talk about this amazing chapter in his career. Our great friend Steve Brown (Trixter, Def Leppard touring, sooo many cool bands) is an epic producer and produced, and engineered the 10,000 Volts record and Steve co-wrote most of the album with Ace.  Together they are awesome!

Dressed in his favorite holiday sweater, Ace and Steve discussed their chemistry, putting the tunes together, studio sessions, and brought us into their creative relationship and personal relationship as rock brothers. Ace is so energized (you can see it on his face in the photos) and feels it's his best work since his 1978 solo record- (I think it's better) .... and to see Ace so "electric" (come on I had to!) and inspired was the BEST part of the afternoon.  Plus, Ace is just the best. So funny, such a character, and a great guy.  AND Ace is living in New Jersey now and he clued us in on what he thinks of the Garden State and his new life in Sparta.

Coolest thing? Ace signed and took photos with all of the fans in our parking lot. He was eager to interact.

WDHA will be posting the entire interview in video and audio so stay tuned.

Thanks for a great day Ace! Please come back and see us at WDHA!
