It’s Terrie Carr and one of my favorite new DHA bands is PLUSH!
For SOOOOOO many reasons. They are amazing musicians, talented beyond their years. they KILL it live and have a great presence, their songwriting abilities are so strong for such a young group of musicians and they have a raw energy that is infectious.
Whether opening for Evanescence, Halestorm, Slash, Breaking Benjamin or Sevendust these ladies never knock it out of the park.
I will debut their brand new single “Left Behind” today at Noon to kick off the All Request Lunch Hour- It’s a banger!
Here are 5 fun facts about the band…..

• The Band Played Our WDHA Parking Lot Party Days Before Heading Out on Tour With Bush/AIC and Breaking Benjamin Without A Drummer

  The ladies KILLED it with an acoustic performance at our final Parking Lot Party of the season right before they hit the road- just them and their instruments…no fancy enhancements, or tricks. (our lot doesn’t have those! lol) and worked up a KILLER acoustic version of “Man In The Box” to celebrate their upcoming Alice In Chains tour.

• Vocalist Moriah Formica Was A Contestant on Season 13 Of the Voice and Every Chair Turned When She Killed It On A Heart Cover

  Moriah absolutely slayed her performance of Heart’s “Crazy On You” when she was on the TV Show The Voice.
  She was on Miley’s team and every chair turned around. You can see the reaction from her family in the audience in this clip including her brother Gabe.
  It takes balls to cover that song and Moriah has them!

• Guitarist Bella Perron Cites Joe Satriani, Randy Rhoads, Slash and Eddie Van Halen As Influences

  Bella studied at The Berklee College Of Music and her feel makes it clear why she is an Ibanez endorser.
  Love this Satriani tribute. Beautiful!

• Bassist Ashley Suppa Comes From A Musical Family And Sang With Ace Frehley At 6!

  Ashley Suppa (I call her Suppa Star!) comes from a musical family with her guitarist pop Mike who has jammed with Ace Frehley and others. In fact, Ashley was in the studio with “Uncle Ace” as kid and lent her vocals to a tune and loved it!
  Ashley also does solo shows and her incredible harmonies are a big part of Plush especially live.

• Drummer Faith Powell Joined The Band "Officially" After Being On A Major Tour With Them- (No Pressure)

  Faith is the bands new drummer and is a MONSTER player!
  I was a fan of her on Instagram before she joined Plush @faithsdrumming- and she is the perfect fit behind the kit!
