Somehow, we’ve already reached August here in the Garden State.
Maybe you’re planning on hitting the beach every day that you possibly can. Maybe you’ve got a road trip to visit family or friends lined up. Or maybe you’re planning on having a cookout in your own backyard. But if you are looking for something fun to do that involves food, I’ve got you covered.
There are many events taking place this month around Jersey where you can sample some great food, whether it’s sweets or delicious food truck creations.
It’s always fun to head to one of the events with a group of friends or your family, so you can sample some unique eats and discuss with your party.
Even when you have to travel a bit to get to the festival or celebration, it’s kind of neat to take a road trip to have some great car ride conversation and listen to some cool music!
Last summer, we invited my son’s best friend and his parents to a food truck festival near our house and it was a lot of fun because we got to know them better and have some fun talking and hanging out. All while enjoying delicious food. As a matter of fact, we still talk about these special French Fries that one of the trucks was selling. They were amazing!!
