New Music Rules!

Hey Friends, It’s Terrie Carr and I’m always thrilled to bring you NEW MUSIC on 105.5 WDHA- The Rock Of New Jersey!

It’s so important to us to showcase new artists, legacy rockers making new music, and of course focus on the sonic flavors of today’s rock tastemakers! We cannot let amazing new music go unnoticed so every few weeks, I highlight a few new tracks that need to be on every music lover’s radar.

I try to keep diversity, familiarity, AND new talent discovery top of mind in my picks and this year so far has been awesome with new tunes from Sebastian Bach, Ace Frehley, and more already!

In this piece I highlight a fantastic artist (Tim Montana) who has a bright 2024 coming, I just know it and is a part of our WDHA Rock The Rock Fest VIP – WDHA Rock The Rock Fest VIP

The legendary Mick Mars makes the list with an AMAZING new tune and Mick has a full new release on the way! Mick Mars Official

A slamming track from The Black Crowes-

NEW Cage The Elephant-

An amazing new Judas Priest tune-

A fresh, new rock band making noise is also included……

A killer duet from Disturbed and Ann Wilson and more!

New music discovery is such a huge part of WDHA as a radio station. Our listeners love discovering new tunes, new sounds, and new bands and come to expect it from the Rock Of New Jersey. We have been breaking rock music for close to 50 years! (I remember the first time I played Nirvana and Pearl Jam on the station shortly after I arrived!)

I usually post new music updates every two weeks or close to it, so please check back and get turned on so when you turn us on, you’re in the new music loop! And don’t forget you can listen anywhere on the WDHA App – Download The WDHA APP

And please hit me up with new tunes that YOU are digging!

  • Mick Mars- Right Side Of Wrong

No one plays like Mick! And his upcoming solo release “The Other Side Of Mars” is fantastic! His guitar sound is iconic, Michael Wagner who produced the first Motley record “Too Fast For Love” produced this track- (before he retired! his final work) and the magic of Mick is evident on this rock banger.

  • Disturbed (Featuring Ann Wilson) - Don't Tell Me

The vocal marriage of David Draiman and Ann Wilson is absolutely incredible. The only duet on Disturbed’s “Divisive”, check out the video for this beautiful, powerful song.

  • Beartooth- I Was Alive

The next single from new rock superstars “Beartooth” (The Surface is their awesome current record) is upbeat, positive, infectious and perfect to start a new year. And their tour is sold out everywhere!

  • Sleep Theory- Numb

These guys blend a lot of sounds and styles and it’s a really fresh vibe! Check out “Numb”- it’s killer and the bands best performing tune to date.

  • Tim Montana- Devil You Know

Tim rules. And 2024 is going to be huis year! We are stoked to have him on the WDHA Rock The Rock Fest VIP and he will be joining me on Reconnect With Rockers for a super fun in-depth chat! Quality artist baby! The video is powerful and Tim’s son plays him in the video too. This song has been out for a bit, and is now picking up lots of steam- as out should….

  • Cage The Elephant- Neon Pill

Just enough retro vibe, just enough fuzzy guitar (my favorite) , rock jams, poppy hooks…..”Neon Pill” is a fun jam from Cage The Elephant that does not disappoint!

  • Judas Priest - Crown Of Horns

We get a new Priest record on March 8th (YAY!) – “Invincible Shield” and throw up the metal horns for this one kids!

  • Black Crowes- Wanting and Waiting

THE CROWES ARE BACK! What a killer tune from their upcoming “Happiness Bastards” – Classic Crowes, I cannot get enough of this song! And I can’t wait for concert dates too- Stay tuned-
