John Krasinski’s new YouTube program Some Good News has become “must-see” viewing; the former Office star reports on some of the positive things that have happened in the past few days and also has some pretty cool surprises for some of his online guests. Last week, he arranged for the original cast of Hamilton to sing to a fan whose tickets for the show on Broadway were canceled. And this week, he had a nice surprise for some of the members of the COVID-19 unit at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. David Ortiz of the Red Sox joined the call and then told them that they were getting Red Sox tickets for life. The segment starts at about 9:30 into the show. But stick with the segment, it gets even sweeter when Krasinski sends a vehicle to bring them to Fenway Park. We don’t want to spoil it, so just watch through the end.
