Entertainment News

John Krasinski has never played a superhero in a Marvel or DC movie (although who could forget his role as the evil “Goldenface” in Threat Level Midnight). But it turns out that he’s something of a real-life superhero. So far, via his YouTube show Some Good News, he’s introduced a Broadway fan to the original cast of Hamilton they serenaded her with a version of “Alexander Hamilton,” via a Zoom call, and introduced a hospital COVID-19 unit to Red Sox legend David Ortiz (who then hooked them up with Red Sox tickets for life).

Earlier tonight, he tweeted about Some Good News fans who are missing their proms, which have all been canceled. So he announced a “Some Good News Prom,” which he will DJ “with some friends” this Friday night.

No word on who the guest DJs will be, if his first three shows are any indicator, there’s likely to be some big surprises.
